Why do bullet hell games always feature little anime girls as the characters? No, seriously, I've always been curious.

Anyway, not bad. The hitbox for my character wasn't immediately obvious so that kind of bothered me. Unless I overlooked it, maybe it would be helpful to include a little visual on the character (that stood out) to better represent the hitbox.

The uploading music thing is way cool and I've never seen that done before in a flash game. Nice innovation.

Nonako responds:

They don't always like that, there are ton of bullet hell games only have cool mecha and soulless machines. xD But seems these games are not popular as those "shooting game with moe characters" so maybe you didn't know about them. Beside that, Touhou is just a part of bullet hell genre not a genre itself, Touhou features little moe girls but not every bullet hell games. The ultimate truth is that I fucking love little anime girls so at anytime I have chance, I will put them into my games and other projects, not because they are bullet hell games. XD XD XD XD

Thank you so much for the advice/ I'm feeling so badly to make the hitbox be large and has more obvious present but... Arh damn, I don't know... T_T

// I updated the new version with bigger display hitbox.

I laughed so hard when I killed the first crab and judge.

This was super cute, clever, and fun. I was pleasantly surprised. Well done

Thank you man! Glad you liked it. It's an honour to pleasantly surprise you.

Awesome job man. I remember seeing this on FGL during a very early build. Its come a long way and plays and looks great, definitely worth the time you put into it.

Thanks Tyler, it's been a great journey!

I really enjoy this game. What a phenomenal concept! I think the game suffers only in the fact that the player expects a little more from the challenges. It initially seems like its strictly a puzzle game, but then quickly turns into more of a reflex-testing game. Having to quickly phase in and out music notes is such a pull from the puzzles the game led me to believe I was going to face.

I feel like you weren't sure on wether to make it puzzling or reflex-testing and kind of half-heartedly did both. Id like to see something a bit more concrete in the future.

But anyway, great job overall! Love the hand-drawn aesthetic by the way.

Guilty as charged! It's not easy to come up with 40 levels purely puzzle-based and keep it interesting at the same time. That's why the skill-levels where added :)

Thanks for the comment!
